“Step into Stability” Fitness on the Square – Saturday, June 17th

Join the fun at “Step Into Stability” Fitness on the Square on Saturday, June 17th .  Included will be: a 5K Run/Walk (Sponsored by Franciscan Health, Ann Jackson Home Team, and Bryan Jackson with Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance), Pickleball Tournament (sponsored by Boys & Collins Financial Group, Agresta, Storms & O’Leary, and MCSAC – Join the Majority), REP’s Strongman Lifting Competition, (18 and older), along with 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament (16 and under) sponsored by Super Sports.

In addition, there will be numerous fitness classes on the courthouse square, for all ages and fitness levels.  Mayor Kohl will lead “Fitness with the Mayor”.  Also included will be High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Zumba plus 4 Square and an obstacle course for kids.  All fitness classes will be free to the public. A special lifting competition will feature the Police Department VS Fire Department.  Spectators can donate to the department they think is mostly likely to win. All proceeds from “Step Into Stability” will benefit Stability First. Stability First is a non-profit organization established to address multiple issues associated with the alleviation of poverty. It deals with transitional housing as well as a circle of services geared toward assisting low income families in increasing their financial stability and self-sufficiency.  Come for a day of healthy fun and help those in need “Step Into Stability”.  Register for the 5K and other competitions at:  www.stability-first.com
