The 15th Annual Truckload of Christmas Toy Drive kicked off on November 14th.  We will be collecting new unwrapped toys and teen items or monetary donations through December 13th.  All proceeds will benefit Churches in Mission and will stay in Morgan County.  The need is even greater this year, so I’m sending out a special request that if you would like to donate, we would welcome any amount.  Many of you are sponsors of the kick-off day and we welcome you to come by the station on kick off day and do a live interview if you’d like….also anyone that brings in toys or monetary donations, we welcome you to do an interview as well….this is a great benefit for our community and it warms my heart each year to organize it for the Mission.  All donations are tax-deductible and checks should be written to Churches in Mission.  They cash the checks and give me a list of items needed and we go purchase them…..pajamas, coats, shoes, hats, mittens, and socks are also items that are needed this year.  If you can’t make it by the station, please let me know if you would like to donate and I can come by myself to pick up donations.  Item donations only will be taken at Hot Rod’s Barber Shop in Monrovia and at Big O Tires in Mooresville.  Randall Wayne and I will be broadcasting live on Thursday, November 14th on kick off day from 1130am-2pm as well and will be happy to take monetary donations while we are on-site at Big O Tires in Mooresville.  Please pass this message along to colleagues, business partners, and Chambers of Commerce for Martinsville and Mooresville.  Thank you, everyone, for helping us make this the biggest year of donations yet!  Thanks so much for all you do!  Please email, call or text me with any questions……looking forward to a great year of donations!
