Our featured presenters at our November luncheon were Sharon Goodin, STEM Coordinator for MSD of Martinsville and STEAM Teacher at Brooklyn STEM Academy, and Shannon Adams, Assistant Principal at Martinsville High School. The topic was Artesian Innovation STEM Education and we discussed how the MSD of Martinsville is aligning with the Indiana Department of Education’s vision for STEM programming. Sharon and Shannon talked about how that supports the Indiana and Martinsville Chamber’s mission and looked at the curricular and career pathways K-12, focusing on high school with vertical supports in K-8 programming. Lunch was catered by Chick-fil-A, and BMO was our November spotlight business. The Morgan County Correspondent and Indiana Spirit of ’45 were welcomed as new members.
