MARTINSVILLE – With Halloween rapidly approaching, the City of Martinsville has announced the recognized Trick-or-Treat hours will be on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.  Door-to-door visits should only be made during these hours to houses where the porch lights are turned on.

Carpenter Realtors will be sponsoring a Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 29th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the city parking lot at the corner of Morgan and Sycamore Streets and the BMO Harris Drive-Thru parking lot.  Sycamore Street will also be closed from Morgan Street to Washington Street for the event.  In addition to treats, there will be music, games and prizes.  Food trucks will also be available.  This safe trick-or-treat activity is open to the community.

For those who do not wish to have Trick-or-Treat visitors, it is suggested that they simply not turn their porch lights on during the Trick-or-Treat hours on Monday, October 31st.
