Thank you to all who came out to celebrate another milestone in the ongoing downtown renovations! It was heartwarming to see so many come out to see the sign relit and to get a sneak preview of the progress with the downtown renovations. It was especially nice to hear some of the memories that folks were kind enough to share. A special shout out of gratitude to: Come ‘n Git It Diner and the Marine Corps League, Doug Molin, Bryan and Kyle Jackson, Girl Scout Troop 3626, Annie Keister and friends, Jackson Junk and Craig Demott for all they did to help make this event happen. THANK YOU to Mayor Shannon E. Kohl and Council president, Eric Bowlen, for their comments. This is just the beginning of the transformation of our historic downtown, so stay tuned… There are a lot of memorable times ahead.
