Morgan County, IN – The Community Foundation of Morgan County (CFMC) announced this week that Delanie Collier and Trista Hammons were awarded the 2021 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarships.

Delanie Collier is the daughter of Melissa Manley and will graduate from Martinsville High School in May 2021. When she was not busy with school activities such as Varsity Cheerleading, National Honor Society, Key Club and Student Council, Delanie volunteered as a team leader for Muscular-Dystrophy Association Walk, as well as taking the time to help at Desert Rose, a shelter for domestic abuse victims. 

Trista Hammons is the daughter of Phillip and Brandy Hammans and will graduate from Martinsville High School in May 2021. In her spare time, Trista has volunteered at Hearts of the Homeless, where she has found a passion to help those in need.  She plans to major in Psychology and Pre-Med when she goes to college.

The other five Lilly finalists were Samuel Cox, Griffin Ritter, and Ethan Brawley from Monrovia High School; Erica Hedrick of Martinsville High School and Miles McGowen of Mooresville High School.
