After several years without a genuine local newspaper, we were excited to learn more about the Morgan County Correspondent, the weekly newspaper created for our community by local investors. Thank you to all those who attended our September meeting. We enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by Chick-fil-A Plainfield and welcomed our newest member Heroes Wildlife Adventures (Otis & Dee Pugh) to the chamber.
The September Member Spotlight was A Senior Retreat – Adult Day Services, designed to provide care, companionship, and socialization for adults who need assistance or supervision during the day. It allows their caregiver to pursue daytime activities and relieve them of their daily duties.
