The Boys & Girls Club of Morgan County is pleased to announce that David Q. Maurer II has joined our team as our resource development manager. David’s hard work, great care, and belief in great futures will open doors of hope and opportunity for the youth and teens who need us most. The board of directors and staff appreciate David’s commitment for engaging our Morgan County friends and neighbors in the Boys & Girls Club mission and movement.

A graduate of Franklin College, David spent 28 years in the insurance industry, serving and advocating for seniors through his work in sales and service. For the past 10 years, David has worked alongside various organizations—some of which include the Indiana National Guard Association Foundation, Franklin College, as well as a few other organizations here in Morgan County—helping them identify opportunities for organizational growth and fundraising strategies, assisting them in how to meet their goals and objectives, then implementing a chosen plan for success.

David is also a member of the Greenwood White River Rotary and Kiwanis, has served at his church (Redeemer Presbyterian), served on various boards and committees for the town of Bargersville, and served on the Greenwood Christian Academy Board (2000-2004). David has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 35 years. They are residents of Johnson County and have two children and one granddaughter. When David is not enjoying time with his family and friends, he enjoys traveling, photography, and his love of aviation.
