The First Presbyterian Church of Martinsville is creating a memorial quilt to honor and remember those in Morgan County who were taken from us too soon by Covid 19. The quilt will be comprised of squares, each of which will contain the name and life dates of our lost loved ones. We are currently soliciting names from families who wish to have their loved ones commemorated.
Participation is free and open to all families in Morgan County who have lost a loved one to Covid-19. Upon completion, the quilt will be dedicated during a special service to be announced. It will then be available for display in a variety of settings before settling in a permanent location inside the First Presbyterian Church.
