MARTINSVILLE – All city offices and services, except emergency police and fire services, will be closed on Friday, April 7, 2023, in observance of the Good Friday
holiday.
For those residents who normally have their trash picked up on Fridays, trash will be picked up on Monday, April 10, 2023. Residents are asked to have their trash curbside by 7:00 AM on their pick-up day, but not before 6:00 PM the night before their pick-up day.
Additionally, the Utility Office and the Transfer Station will also be closed on Saturday, April 8, 2023, in observance of the holiday.
