• SR 37 between SR 39/Morton Avenue and Morgan Street is closed to north-south traffic. Access across SR 37 is at Ohio Street, Grand Valley Boulevard, SR 252 and SR 44.  
  • Access between SR 252 and SR 44 will use Morgan Street between Hospital Drive and Ruben Drive. 
  • Late next week or early the following week, SR 252 traffic will shift to the newly paved north lanes.

Northern Morgan County  

  • SR 37 from Morgan Street to SR 144 is restricted to one travel lane in each direction. Watch for trucks exiting and entering SR 37 as construction continues.  
  • The Henderson Ford Road overpass is open allowing local access across SR 37.  The signalized Henderson Ford Road intersection is closed.  The southbound SR 37 ramp to Henderson Ford Road is open.  A traffic signal is in operation at SR 37 and Ennis Road.  Local and northbound traffic can access SR 37 from the Ennis Road intersection.  Southbound SR 37 may not turn left at Ennis Road.  New Harmony Road north of Ennis Road and Ennis Road south of New Harmony Road have been reopened. 
  • Banta Road (east approach) is closed until late-October.  The west approach at Banta Road remains closed. 
  • The Twin Branch Road connection to SR 37 is open.  Teeters Road access to SR 37 is permanently closed. 
  • Ozark Fisheries Drive and Myra Lane (east approach) are right-in, right-out intersections.  Myra Lane (west approach) is closed.   
  • State Road 37 access is expected to change October 4 for First United Methodist Church in Martinsville. A temporary driveway will open north of Myra Lane. 
  • Huggin Hollow Road north of SR 144 is closed.  Access to the storage facility and the Shell and BP gas stations is being maintained from SR 144.  Access to properties to the north is from SR 144 to Old SR 37 and then south on Huggin Hollow Road. 
  • On SR 37 between the Crooked Creek bridge and Big Bend Road there is a crossover available for emergency use only.  There are barricades that will need to be moved.  
  • Rolling stops for SR 37 traffic could occur between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.   

Johnson County  

  • Banta Road (east approach) is closed until late-October.  The west approach at Banta Road remains closed. 
  • Access to Waterman’s Farm Market uses the newly constructed access road between Fairview Road and the Waterman’s driveway.  The old Waterman’s access directly from SR 37 is closed. 
  • SR 37 left turn movements at Olive Branch Road are closed.  Through movements between Olive Branch Road and Old SR 37 are closed.  Olive Branch Road and Old SR 37 are right-in, right-out intersections.  The Olive Branch east approach may close permanently on or after October 10.  
  • The east and west approaches between Bluffdale Road/Drive and SR 37 may close permanently on or after October 10.  Local traffic west of SR 37 will use the new access road from McCarty Mulch to Fairview Road. 
  • A new traffic signal has been installed at Fairview Road and Bluff Road.  It remains a 4-way stop condition with a signal flashing red in all directions.   
  • The Bluff Acres Drive intersection at SR 37 is permanently closed. 
  • An access road along the east side of SR 37 between Travis Road and Stones Crossing Road is open.  All Stones Crossing Road and Travis Road access to SR 37 is permanently closed.  
  • Lane shifts are in place in the SR 37 northbound and southbound lanes between Fairview Road and SR 144.  An 11-foot width limit is in effect for the lane-shifted areas.   
  • Watch for truck traffic entering and exiting the construction zone.  There may be short traffic delays. 
  • Watch for mowing crews. 

Marion County 

  • The South Keystone Avenue bridge over I-465 is closed. The detour follows Thompson Road, Madison Avenue, Shelby Street, and Hanna Avenue. Redfern Drive’s east and west access to Keystone Avenue is closed. 
  • The access road from Wicker Road to Glenns Valley Church area will open on or after October 1.  Glenns Valley Church access from SR 37 will be closed after the access road is opened. 
  • Thompson Road between Warman Avenue and Stoops Truck Sales is permanently closed.  SR 37 access to Sunshine Gardens is from Epler Avenue. 
  • Single lane closures, and potentially double lane closures later in the week, will occur on eastbound I-465 near South Keystone Avenue from October 2 to October 8, starting at 9 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. 
  • Daytime gas line work will close the eastbound lane of Southport Road just east of SR 37 from October 4 to October 8. 
  • On the night of October 4 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., single lane closures will occur on eastbound I-465 at mile marker 1.6 (near Madison Avenue) and on westbound I-465 at mile marker 2.5 (at the merger of the US 31 on ramp).  
  • Work on the Duke Energy transmission line in the vicinity of Mann Road will cause eastbound and westbound lane closures on I-465 during the nights of October 4, 5, and 6, starting at 9 p.m. and ending at 5 a.m. 
  • The South Belmont Avenue 2-week closure at SR 37 (south of Aspen Lakes Apartments) is expected on or after October 18. Emergency access for Aspen Lakes Apartments will be from South Belmont Avenue at Winslet Boulevard. 
  • “Rally Point A” for all emergency first responders is at SR 37 and Fairview Road. Meet here for escort before proceeding onto the jobsite.
