The Morgan County Early Learning Coalition will award someone with the Provider of the Year Award this year at our Fall Conference on Saturday, November 9, 2024! Work in a regulated center, ministry, family child care home, or school-based program located in Morgan County, Indiana
Care for and teach children between the ages of birth to 5, or ages 5-12 for ONLY Before & After or Break Care (Please note: Elementary School Teachers are not eligible for this award)
Fit one or more of the following job descriptions or titles within their program:
- Infant Teacher (Ages 0-12 Months),
- Young Toddler Teacher (Ages 13 months – 30 Months),
- Older Toddler Teacher (Ages 24 months – 36 months),
- Preschool Teacher (Ages 3 & 4),
- Pre-K Teacher (Ages 4-5),
- School-Age Teacher (Ages 5-12, Before & After/Break Care),
- Home Provider (Owner, Teacher, etc.),
- Administrator (Director, Assistant Director, etc.),
- Support Staff (Cook, Special Education Specialist,
- Family Outreach Specialist, etc.),
- Rookie Teacher (Any teacher having been hired during or after May 2023)
An exemplary candidate for an Outstanding Provider Award is one who:
- Positively improves the lives of children
- Positively represents the Early Childhood Education Profession
- Is involved in our community
- Demonstrates excellence and expertise in the field, guiding students of ALL backgrounds and abilities to achieve success.
Awards will be chosen by the Morgan County Early Learning Coalition and will be given at the 2024 Early Childhood Fall Mini-Conference on November 9th, 2024. All nominees and finalists will be recognized during the conference. Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 PM on October 16th, 2024.
