Thank you to all those who joined us for our virtual Third House Session. We appreciated your patience as we continued in spite of technical difficulties. We welcomed Senator Rodric Bray, Rep. Peggy Mayfield, and Rep. Beau Baird. Rep. Young was unable to attend. Daniel Elliott, chairman of the Morgan County Republican Central Committee and a local business owner, graciously agreed to be our moderator. There are many topics of interest during this long session, so in order to cover as many topics as possible, constituents were asked to submit questions prior to the session. As a Chamber, our goal is to cover as many topics as possible during the time allotted. Because we had a rash of last-minute questions, we were not able to cover all topics and questions during the time frame. All questions and comments submitted through email, messaging, and chat will be shared with our legislators.Thank you to Senator Bray, Representative Peggy Mayfield, and Representative Beau Baird for taking the time to talk with us. Kudos to Daniel Elliott and Chamber board chair Darcy Quakenbush for doing a great job of making the most of our time together in spite of our technical challenges. You may watch the entire recording here: https://martinsvillechamber.com/third-house/ ...
