Leaders from Indiana University Health, IU Health Foundation, and Stability First gathered in Martinsville in  November, to commemorate a $593,000 grant focused on helping others.

The grant from IU Health will be given to Stability First over three years to renovate a building in Martinsville as a shelter for men with mental health needs, substance use disorder or criminal histories. The men will receive housing, health care management and program services.

Diane Buzzell, MA, CFRE, IU Health Foundation Director of Philanthropy for the South Central Region said, “Helping to support organizations like Stability First is just one way IU Health is working to make Indiana a healthier state. We’re excited to see how their efforts will impact both individuals and the community at large.”
