On July 22, 2022, we will stand for our fallen and Veterans for our 500th consecutive Friday evening of Taps on the Square. It began in December 2018 to remember the precious lives taken at Sandy Hook Elementary School and has evolved into a weekly tradition of Honor and Remembrance.
Our Veterans, Buglers, and community have stood for our Heroes since the end of that first week, for 500 consecutive Friday evenings, regardless of the weather or other conditions. No other group like this is found anywhere else in the nation.
Celebrate with us on July 22, 2022. The event is FREE to everyone…the price has been paid by those we honor.
Cookout (donations appreciated) begins at 5:30 pm, the ceremony begins at 6:45 pm.
