Indiana Wesleyan Occupational Therapy Assistant students to intern at A Senior Retreat
A Senior Retreat will host Indiana Wesleyan University students for their Occupational Therapy Assistants fieldwork rotation for the second year. Four students will work with our friends and team at our Martinsville and Franklin locations, two at each center. They will receive direct experience working with patients living with dementia and other diagnoses while working on their fieldwork assignments. The students will be with us through the end of February 2025.
In June 2025, the OTA students will collaborate on a Fall Prevention project and deliver their research and suggestions using occupational therapy principles at a community event in Morgan County. The date and location are to be determined.
A Senior Retreat is proud to partner with IWU and the OTA program to give real-life experiences for the students as well as our friends and team at each center!
