Thanks to all those who attended our first monthly luncheon of 2026. We were happy to welcome two of our new members, Andrew Gannon (Andrew Gannon State Farm Insurance) and Diane Hubbard.

Kudos to Bethaney Latham, MeCAP project director, for a thorough and informative presentation. MeCAP (Martinsville Environmental Community Action Project) is conducted by a group of community members and researchers who work together to assess and address the pressing issue of community exposure to environmental contaminants.
This project focuses on the happenings of community-engaged research conducted by community partners in Martinsville and researchers from Purdue University, Indiana University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
A delicious lunch was provided by Shane and his team at the Peddler’s Loft Cafe.
