WorkOne will be hosting a Job Fair in the Morgan County Administration Building in partnership with the YMCA of Morgan County on April 15th from 2 pm-4 pm. YMCA of Morgan County Center for Working Families will be available to provide financial planning and workforce development guidance.
WorkOne serving Morgan, Hendricks, and Boone Counties is also planning to host a large hiring event at the WorkOne Plainfield office in May. If you are interested in participating in that event, please let me know, and I will send the details and registration link for that event.
I also wanted to take a moment to reconnect and provide a quick reminder of the no-cost employer services available through WorkOne Central Indiana Region 5.
As a reminder, WorkOne supports employers with recruiting and workforce development needs through services such as job posting and promotion via Indiana Career Connect, hiring and job fair assistance, and access to interview or training space. We also offer several funding and training support options, including On-the-Job Training (OJT) wage reimbursements, paid internship opportunities for youth ages 16–24, and the Power Up Indiana program for employee training reimbursement.
Additionally, we can assist with registered apprenticeships, providing labor market and wage data, administering WorkKeys assessments, and offering Rapid Response services when workforce transitions occur.
