MEMORIAL DAY TRIBUTES
Each year, WCBK 102.3 FM airs special tributes to our local veterans, naming them in Memorial Day Weekend messages. For those who wish to help us in continuing this tradition, it’s only $159 for 10 messages, which list 8 veterans ranging in dates from WWI to 911 along with your business/organization name. We are wrapping this up in the next couple of days to give time for proper preparation, if you would like to be included, please respond, and I will secure you as a sponsor. Below is a sample of how the message reads out.
We pay tribute this Memorial Day weekend to those brave men and women who have given their lives for our country. Many soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines from Morgan County have paved the road to freedom with their lives. Roger Coffin of Coffin & Coffin in Martinsville joins with our community in recognizing the sacrifices these Morgan County residents made:
