Martinsville Chamber August Luncheon Meeting
Friday, August 15th, 11:30 am
Morgan County Admin Building, 180 S. Main St.
Martinsville

TOPIC: Business Continuity – Practical Planning for Disruptions
PRESENTER: Morgan County Emergency Management Agency
In today’s unpredictable world, the ability to maintain operations during disruptions—whether from natural disasters, cyberattacks, or supply chain issues—is critical for any business. That’s why Morgan County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is offering a Business Continuity Workshop to help local businesses like yours prepare for unexpected challenges and protect what matters most: your people, your operations, and your bottom line.
Business continuity planning isn’t just for major corporations—it’s smart, practical preparedness that strengthens your resilience, keeps customers confident, and positions you for quicker recovery when disruptions occur.
During this workshop, you will receive simple tools to help assess your risks, identify core operations, and build a continuity plan tailored to your business. EMA will also share how we can support you through this process, so you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Lunch will be provided by Greek’s Pizzeria for just $10.
Donations of door prizes are appreciated and provide great exposure for your business or organization.
***Please note that the Morgan County Judicial Campus is now open and the parking lot is accessible from Jackson St. or Columbus St. Please enter and exit the building through the new entrance breezeway with doors facing Main St. and Mulberry St. At the end of the hallway, you will pass through security and be directed to the Lucille Sadler Room.
