The Martinsville Fire Department is seeking applicants for Firefighters/EMTs through June 28, 2024.  

Requirements – Firefighter/EMT

All persons seeking employment with the Martinsville Fire Department as a full-time Firefighter/EMT must: 

  • Have a valid Indiana Driver’s License 
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED 
  • Have a valid Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) card from within the last year (due at offer of employment)
  • Have State of Indiana Firefighter 1/2 Certification 
  • Have current State of Indiana EMT-Basic Certification 
  • Have State of Indiana Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations Certification 
  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age or a maximum of 38 years of age to apply 
  • Laterals are encouraged to apply

  • Third Year $60,250
