INDIANAPOLIS – Franciscan Health Indianapolis will be hosting the Explore Healthcare Career Camp (EHCC), June 22-26 for high school students at the Indianapolis hospital campus and Education Center in Greenwood.

The camp offers hands-on experience for students in grades 11-12 (ages 16-19). Participants will explore a variety of healthcare careers, connect with healthcare professionals, and learn about education and career pathways. The camp provides students with an inside look at what it is like to work in healthcare and start planning for the future.

During camp, hands-on training includes CPR, along with Stop the Bleed/First Aid training, an anatomy lab (pig lab), suturing and/or casting and job shadowing.

The camp provides attendees with the chance to participate in career education and department observation opportunities.

Students will also network with Franciscan staff and administration and meet peers with similar interests.

Camp attendees will be provided with scrubs and/or a T-shirt.

The Explore Healthcare Career Camp is Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
