On February 25th, John R. Wooden Middle School hosted community and business leaders, and guests from area school districts at an open house highlighting their new, first in the state College & Career Ready Lab.
Led by instructor Kenja Fraley, the Paxton/Patterson College & Career Lab focuses on creating a career exploration experience to help students decide where their interests and aptitudes align with a career pathway. Based 100% on the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in each pathway, these labs ensure students get much more than career exploration, every day they develop behaviors to ultimately prepare them for post-secondary success.
Students were engaged, having fun, and answering our questions at each of the nineteen modules housed at John R. Wooden.
