The Morgan County Substance Abuse Council (MCSAC) is pleased to announce the addition of Bruce Silbernagel to the New Life Recovery team. As the newest Peer, Bruce has already made an immediate impact by facilitating a weekly Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting on Mondays at noon. He will also begin leading a new Friday evening meeting for veterans and a Saturday evening AA meeting.
New Life Recovery is now open six days a week, offering a welcoming, stigma-free environment where individuals and families can find connection, support, and recovery throughout their journey. Services include peer support, referrals to community resources, recovery coaching, family support meetings, faith-based recovery meetings, AA and NA meetings, and access to a variety of recovery resources.
Visitors are also welcome to enjoy the facility’s amenities, including a public computer for checking email, completing job applications, and building resumes. We also have a collection of board games and a gathering space with a complimentary coffee bar with hot and cold snacks available to everyone.
