Showtime Cinema is an 8-screen, first run, independently owned and operated movie theatre located at 300 Southbridge St. in Mooresville Indiana in the same center as Ivy Tech Community College. Joe Avampato has been working in the theatre industry for over 30 years. In 2012, it was time to own his own and together with his wife Sarah picked Mooresville as the place to start a new adventure!

Showtime has enjoyed being involved with Mooresville’s Victorian Christmas, Business After Hours Events and the Morgan County Business Leader Cover Parties. Showtime was honored as the 2013 Business of the Year by Mooresville’s Chamber of Commerce.

We love doing fundraisers and have worked with many local PTO’s, the Boys’ and Girls’ Club, League of Miracles and many other not-for-profit organizations.

For our friends and patrons with sensory challenges and Autism, we show most of our “kids” features the third weekend with the lights up and sound lowered so they may enjoy the movie experience.

The Summer Kids’ Series has been a terrific hit each year. For just $.50 or the donation of a non-perishable item to Churches in Mission you can enjoy a fun movie and help the community at the same time. Sponsorships are also available for that 8-week event. We strive to be a community asset and a great place to be entertained!
