It was our pleasure to welcome Royalty Detail LLC to the Martinsville business community with a ribbon cutting. Owners Sean & Cat Bryant have done a wonderful job rehabbing the former Fleck's Auto property at 710 Morton Ave. and are excited to finally have a brick and mortar presence in Morgan County. You can schedule your detailing job by calling Sean at 317-364-9692. ![]()
Plan now to join Sean, Cat, and friends as they celebrate their grand opening on Saturday, April 24th, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Our friends at Gather Around BBQ will be on-site serving their delicious BBQ menu and Sean & Cat will be adding more details and specials to their FB event this week: Royalty Detail LLC Grand Opening.![]()

It looks like tomorrow will bring the perfect weather for Rediscover Martinsville's April 3rd Thursdays on the Square - Martinsville event. On the 3rd Thursday of the month, the businesses and restaurants in downtown Martinsville remain open later and plan fun events and specials. Individual business hours may vary. Fables and Fairy Tales, Celebrations Boutique, and The Sterling Butterfly, along with other shops, boutiques, and restaurants, are ready to celebrate Spring with you tomorrow! See you there!

We have had so much fun coordinating and observing the presentations for our annual State of the City event (virtual, again this year) that we co-host with the Martinsville Rotary! Here's a sneak peek of the Chamber and Rotary remarks and Mayor Costin's interview, but you will have to wait for the video release later this month to see our award winners revealed. Thank you to Michelle Keller and her team at the Brickhouse Loft a Boutique Hotel for allowing us to use her beautiful hotel lobby and porch as our setting, and Jamin Baxter, Inside Morgan County and Luke Helmer, Home Bank for lending their time and talents to this year's event.

With local asphalt plants reopening for spring construction, you may see more paving and permanent pothole patches.
The final layer of surface pavement and striping typically wait until large trucks have left the work zone and temperatures are warmer.
