Bradford Woods is Indiana University’s Outdoor Center and one of the nation’s premier outdoor education and retreat destinations. Located on more than 2,500 acres of beautiful forests, trails, and a 110-acre lake in Martinsville, Indiana, Bradford Woods advances Indiana University’s mission through teaching, service, programs, research, and community engagement. For more than 65 years, Bradford Woods has enriched the lives of youth and adults by providing exceptional outdoor education, recreation, leadership development, and therapeutic programming in an inclusive environment.

Today, Bradford Woods serves as a year-round destination for individuals, families, businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. The property offers a wide variety of accessible lodging accommodations, meeting spaces, cabins, and historic facilities that host conferences, corporate retreats, weddings, family reunions, camps, and special events. Professional staff also provide customized team-building experiences, adventure education, recreation activities, and facilitated leadership development programs designed to strengthen organizations and create meaningful connections. Bradford Woods can accommodate groups ranging from small family and friends gatherings to overnight retreats with lodging for more than 300 guests.
