Biography
Youth First exists to transform and strengthen the lives of young people and their families. We are the only organization that provides Masters level social workers in area schools and prevention programs for youth and families. On-site, free-of-charge behavioral health services and programs prevent substance abuse, improve family relationships and develop life skills.
Thanks to Youth First…
• A teenager no longer turns to drugs and alcohol to deal with his problems, and he’s now better equipped to handle life’s challenges.
• A mother no longer contemplates suicide, and she’s now better prepared to take care of her family.
• A child is no longer paralyzed by anxiety, and she’s now excelling in school and enjoying her classmates.
• A father no longer lashes out in anger, and he’s now building a stronger, healthier relationship with each of his children.
