Work planned on State Road 67 near Paragon

MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor CLR, Inc. is scheduled to begin substructure repair and rehabilitation work on State Road 67 over Burkhart Creek on or after Monday, May 5, in Morgan County. 

Work will take place on S.R. 67 between Duckworth Road and South Buffalo Hill Road, located just northeast of Paragon. Work is expected to be complete in late July, weather permitting.

Intermittent flagging operations and a temporary speed reduction will be used while work is in progress. Signage will be placed in the area before the start of construction.  

This work is part of a contract awarded to CLR in October 2024. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
