The Purdue EDGE in Agriculture Team is seeking nominations for the 2026 Purdue EDGE in Agriculture Awards. The Purdue EDGE in Ag Team annually recognizes individuals in Indiana who are leaders, innovators, and significant contributors to the success of Indiana’s agriculture industry. Nominations are sought for the following categories: leadership, achievement, and emerging leader in agriculture.
The Leadership Award recognizes an individual in an agribusiness or policymaking position who has actively influenced Indiana agriculture. The Achievement Award recognizes individuals who are directly involved in a home farm operation. The Emerging Leader in Agriculture Award recognizes our high school and college undergrad students who are making an impact on agriculture.
The nomination form and requirements are found at https://tinyurl.com/PUEDGEAwards. Nominations must be submitted by May 1, 2026. Applications and letters of support may be sent to Jenna Nees, smith535@purdue.edu. Self-nominations or nominations from others are acceptable.
The 2025 Purdue EDGE in Agriculture Award recipients were Lisa Holscher (Leadership Award), Sandy Kleine (Achievement Award), and Alexandra Merritt (Emerging Leader in Agriculture Award). Congratulations to all of the past award winners!
