The Retreat at Mineral Springs is an $8.4 million project, that transformed three historic downtown buildings into 38 units of senior housing. The work re-purposed the old Martinsville Sanitarium, Morgan County Sheriff’s Residence and Jail and Kivett’s Five and Dime buildings into studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments for residents who are 55 and older.

The Winner’s View

We have two main branches of business: Our polycarbonate replacement windows – windows for heavy equipment, tractors, boats, and racing, AND our design side – trophies, banners, yard signs, and decals. We also do many customer applications.

Showtime Cinema is an 8-screen, first run, independently owned and operated movie theatre located at 300 Southbridge St. in Mooresville Indiana in the same center as Ivy Tech Community College. Joe Avampato has been working in the theatre industry for over 30 years. In 2012, it was time to own his own and together with his wife Sarah picked Mooresville as the place to start a new adventure!

Showtime has enjoyed being involved with Mooresville’s Victorian Christmas, Business After Hours Events and the Morgan County Business Leader Cover Parties. Showtime was honored as the 2013 Business of the Year by Mooresville’s Chamber of Commerce.

We love doing fundraisers and have worked with many local PTO’s, the Boys’ and Girls’ Club, League of Miracles and many other not-for-profit organizations.

For our friends and patrons with sensory challenges and Autism, we show most of our “kids” features the third weekend with the lights up and sound lowered so they may enjoy the movie experience.

The Summer Kids’ Series has been a terrific hit each year. For just $.50 or the donation of a non-perishable item to Churches in Mission you can enjoy a fun movie and help the community at the same time. Sponsorships are also available for that 8-week event. We strive to be a community asset and a great place to be entertained!

Our inventory includes a wide range of products for the hobbyist, from models to top-of-the-line radio control trucks, boats, airplanes, and helicopters. We have been serving the hobby industry in Martinsville since 2009. Our new location provides an indoor RC track with a footprint of more than 7,600 sf.

The South Central Community Action Program is a nonprofit organization based in Bloomington, Ind. that has served low-income people for more than 50 years.

The Morgan County SCCAP Office serves as a representative for the Salvation Army Extension Office and works with the Emergency Shelter Program to address the emergency needs of Morgan County residents. Morgan County SCCAP provides referrals to other agencies and general casework to Morgan County residents.
