WorkOne Plainfield is a one-stop center for career and employment resources serving job seekers and employers. These services are provided through the Indiana Department of Workforce Development at no cost. Services are available to all job seekers and employers. WorkOne offers priority of service to veterans.

Workshops are available at the Plainfield location and periodically at locations in Morgan County. WorkOne offers Indiana Career Connect (ICC), the statewide matching system – http://www.indianacareerconnect.com. ICC provides a platform for employers to post open positions and search for viable candidates. ICC also allows job seekers to post their resumes and apply for jobs. In addition, employers may post job flyers on the job board as well as schedule their own job fair at WorkOne Plainfield. Other programs and resources are available to employers such as tax credits and local labor and wage information.

The Barbara B. Jordan YMCA mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. We seek to enrich the community by leading, collaborating, and providing a safe environment for growth.

As part of our mission, our programs are accessible, affordable, and open to all faiths, backgrounds abilities and income levels. We provide financial assistance to people who otherwise may not have been able to afford to participate.
